The Watchlist: Five Names on My Radar
Inside the research pipeline - July 2026
Healthcare Stock Ideas covers asymmetric opportunities in healthcare and biotech. Analysis only - nothing here is investment advice, and it reflects the author's opinion. Do your own research. To read our full disclaimer, click here.
Every deep dive you read here starts somewhere. Before the thesis, before the valuation work, before the risk section - there’s a list.
This is that list.
Each month going forward I’m now sharing my watchlist, the names I’m actively researching, where they sit in the pipeline, and what would move them up or knock them off.
Some of these will graduate to full deep dives. Some will fall away as I do the work. That’s the point - you’re seeing the funnel, not the finished product.
This month there are five names: a post-bankruptcy turnaround the market left for dead, a $5 million nano-cap with a founder who owns half of it, a botched pharma launch getting fixed by serious money, a quiet Canadian compounder about to show its operating leverage, and a medtech that just won a first-of-its-kind FDA approval.
Here’s what I’m watching, and why.
